MG501 Value Chain Management in Agribusiness

DESCRIPTION

This unit provides advanced knowledge of the theories and practices that underpin the formation and management of agribusiness value chains and evaluation of performance of agribusiness value chains in terms of value creation and sustainable competitive advantage. Students are required to apply value chain management theory and analyse the management practices of a selected agribusiness chain, identify effective management practices of the value chain, and communicate how such practices affect the profitability of the stakeholders involved and the satisfaction of consumers.
