OB101 Organisational and Human Management
DESCRIPTION
This unit introduces students to the concepts and theories relevant to the behaviour of individuals and groups such as individual differences, perception, motivation and conflict resolution. Students will be introduced to the organizational characteristics of Agricultural cooperatives and related industries. Managing in complex environments will be used to identify, analyse and discuss organisational problems relevant to complex projects and to study the development of behavioural responses to help resolve such situations. The broader organisation's dynamic relationships with its operating environment are explored and implications of that relationship for organisational culture, power, change and development considered.
